Sheriff Gary Hofmann and his wife, Olga, and their daughter Alexandra now 4 are familiar with the local needs and concerns we all share every day. Having raised children Laura and Joey in this county as well both graduating from Queen Anne’s County Schools, and having strong ties to our local schools, I have a pulse on the needs of current families in working with the schools. A local Maryland native, Gary, and his family are longtime members of the community. With family ties from Kent Island to Northern Queen Anne County, the Hofmann family’s longstanding ties to the Queen Anne’s County community are a driving force in our commitment to protecting our citizens, seniors, and our children. We are a traditional family, facing traditional family issues and concerns that are a sign of the ever-pressing economy and changing times, with strong values and support for children, local schools, businesses, and a constant commitment to our community and neighbors. The Hofmann family is passionate about serving the community that they love and call home. My focus is to ensure that your family and mine remain safe and have a secure, safe, and drug-free community in which to raise our families in a safe and secure Queen Anne’s County, not just today but for generations to come.
